Equestrian Life Artist competition success

Nicola Pennill's portrait of 'Dandy', a Welsh Mountain Pony has been awarded one of the major prizes in Equestrian Life magazine's 2007 artist competition.

The judges, artist Jennifer Bell, editor Louise Graham, proprietor Zoe Molesworth and designers Glynn Lydiate and Rachel Sturgess were very impressed with the quality of the entries, agreeing that the top three all had thecalibre of professional artists.

Nicola was delighted to be awarded the prize. "I love painting ponies - they have such life and character".
