The RSPB reserve at Minsmere is a really magical place on the Suffolk coast. In winter there are fewer birds, although there is still much to see, including the spectacular displays of starlings roosting at dusk.

This sunny day I have depicted with ink and a dry-ish brush (on quite a textured paper) to hint at the sparkle of winter sunshine on the reed beds.
