The stretch of beach between Bamburgh and Seahouses is one of the most magnificent I know. If you walk from Seahouses you see the wonderful castle at Bamburgh looming on the horizon - this is the view if you walk the other way, and you can see the harbour wall of Seahouses stretching away. This painting was taken from a sketch on a windy walk in the autumn.
